Grand Observations

Grand Observations

Sulfur clouds billow
Like warm blankets,
Fanned by a distant mother
Keeping us alive
Do not touch
Do not burn yourself,
In these deep hypnotic pools
Of emerald and green,
Sapphire and blue,
Moods ever changing,
On a tightrope wire
Ready to blow
