Hey folks: It’s been way too long since I sent out a “hello from the homestead” note. I’ve been crazy busy. Jude just turned 11 and I have a bunch of adventures to report from the year, but somehow, the older he gets, the busier I get with all our adventures. How did that happen? It doesn’t matter, it’s a wonderful thing. But, yes, he’s nearly five feet tall, and sometimes he sends me e-mails from school. That’s how fast time flies….in the meantime, here’s a new/old story of mine called “The Spin” that just got published in Deep South magazine. They liked it, I brushed it up, right here:
